Good News, Bad News

Hi Furends,

Good News - My lump was gone so we came to the conclusion that it must have been the shots I got and everything is a OK now.

Bad News - Jet had to get a catheter last night because his peeer hole was healing so well that it was healing shut or at least too small which could cause the same problem he had before. It was really gross the catheter was sticking out and (you know) there was no bag so the Mommy had to lock him in the extra bathroom so she could keep the house clean. The Mommy went to bed last night around 11pm and checked on him at 6am this morning and Jet managed to remove the cone around his head and pulled the catheter completely out and it was a long tube.

The mommy has to call the doctor this morning and see what we can do now - the catheter thing is not going to work for us. We may just wait and see what happens because Jet totally hates the VET and bites him all the time. He won't even let them look at him - they have to give him sleepy medicine to get near him.
Poor kitty - maybe they should just leave him alone. He is happy when he is home.

Chillin and Check Ups

Hi Furends,

Not much going on in my house - just chillin and enjoying the nice weather we are having. Tonight Jet is scheduled to go to the VET for his check up - (we think he is all better) and the mommy said I may have to go too. When the VET gave me my shots at the last visit, I now have a hard ball under my fur. The mommy has been rubbing it but it is is still there. We thinks it might be the medicine so we are getting it checked tonight. I can't even feel it but the mommy is concerned. After tonight, Jet and I hope we don't have to go to the VET for a long time.

Mom Remembers

I am reading all the posts about 9/11. So I asked my mom about that day.
Mom remembers......
It was a Tuesday. I was just back to work about 1 week after being on maternity leave with the oldest little. I had a commute of approx. 45 minutes back then so I dropped off the little at her sitter around 7am and headed to work. My commute involved going over a bridge and mostly highway roads. I remember thinking how beautiful the weather was that day when I was going over the bridge. I got to work around 8am and did the usual signing on the computer etc. The girl that sits next to me was the first to say anything about the tragedy. Her husband worked in NYC and called her saying that something hit one of the towers. We thought at first it was just a terrible accident and then the second tower was hit. People were getting worried - many had family members who worked in the towers. We could actually see the smoke from one of the windows of our building which was located in NJ. Immediately, management started telling us we could go home if we wanted. I always respected that because my fear was that they would close all the bridges and I would not get home to my new born baby. I left and headed to the sitters. Many of my friends were stuck because they could not get over the bridge back into NY - the bridges to and from NY were all closed down.
We were not sure if we were under attack or at war.
Very scary day and sad for so many.
God Bless the volunteers who helped after the tragedy.
God Bless all the survivors who lost loved ones and
of course, Rest in Peace all of those who were lost.
I will never forget.

Award

My BF Harry P as in Pugalicious or a/k/a Mr. September gave me an award and it involves one of my favorite things FOOD. Thanks Harry!!

These are the rules:
When accepting this award, you must blog about the food you have stolen when your humans were not watching…If you have never stolen any food, you must be a really good pup!! You can accept this yummy tray of cookies as your reward! Next add the logo of this award to your Blog (optional), then nominate at least 5 other furry blogs and let them know by leaving a message on their Blogs…

Well as you all know, littles live in my house and they are GREAT at leaving foodables around for me to get to very easily. I think in the past month, I have eaten pancakes with syrup - my absolute favorite. I actually can smell those babies coming out of the box that beeps on the counter. Lets see - oh pork roll - my favorite - The daddy makes pork roll and egg sandwiches in the am and I stand right under the griddle - he is a sloppy cooker hehe. OK then there are Doritos - yummy salty crispy goodness - my favorite :) and lets not forget about bologna - school lunch making time is my favorite!!

Well those are just a few - after re-reading this it sure seems like I have a lot of favorites when it comes to foodables!! hehehe.
I think every dog in the blogisphere has gotten this award so I will pass along to any of those pups who have not received it yet - I love to hear about good food to sneak!
Enjoy your weekend - hope your hoomans cook something yummy and are sloppy about it!!!

back to the old routine

Today the littles got dressed early and we went outside with me on the leash. I love going for walkie walks and thought WOW what a great way to start the day.
I was ready to go and then we all just stood in the driveway.

Then the mommy started taking pictures of us. WTF - I thought we were going for a walkie walk. Then I heard it coming. I had to listen real good to make sure it was what I thought it was.
Yup - the Big Yellow Thing. The littles hopped on and off they went. I guess we are going back to the old routine.

SAFE

Hi Furends, This has been a crazy week around my house. Last night we lost Jet for awhile - he just disappeared and we looked all over for him. I was starting to think the aliens came back but, we finally found him hiding in the daddy's closet. He is on the mend and looks a lot better today. He is even losing the stinky smell. The mommy said 1 more bath should do it for good. I want to wish you all a happy and Safe labor day. I will leave you with a picture of me that looks like I am sliding into home plate.

Jet Speaks

Hi - My name is Jet. Rosie said I could blog for her today to tell you my story. See I was abducted by aliens. I don't remember much but I know they did some alien research and testing on me and they stole my jewels. I have included a very graphic picture of what they did to me at the end of this post so if you have a weak stomach stop reading now.

The aliens also put this thing around my neck and the hoomans have not been able to figure out how to get it off yet. I asked Rosie to try too but she is just a dog (no offensive doggies - the cats will understand).
See her below she is trying to figure out how it works and instead of getting it off - she decided to lick the extra cat food that got stuck on the end after I had dinner. Typical Pug.

Then I thought maybe she had it figured out.
Nope she went right to my back side (another typical Pug move). OK the graphic pic is coming up - all you males out there get ready to wince.
YIKES - and yes it does hurt but I am feeling better.
Hope those aliens plan of doing something good with my jewels.
Peace out - Jet

Poor Jetty Woo Woo

Hi Furends,
The aliens really did a job on poor Jet (we call him Jetty Woo Woo)- he looks terrible. They shaved his skin, he is all bruised where they had to give him the incision and he is miserable with the cone on his head. This morning he was better than yesterday and we hope he will be even better by this evening. He also stinks - the mommy tried to wash him up but he has already been through so much trauma we decided to just leave him alone for a bit.
I did hear that he put up quite a fight - the aliens were bit and scratched to the point they thought Jet was pure evil - but now that he is home with his family he is lovable little Jetty again. Poor guy.
The mommy did not even want to take a pic of him for my blog - she wants to forget that he had to even go through this operation.
Hope you are all having a better day!

UTI not UFO

We went to the VET last night. My check up was just fine - I weigh 23.8 lbs and got 3 shots. The shots did not hurt one bit because my bum is nice and fluffy (so the doctor said). He said I was a beautiful girl and everybody loved me.

Jet on the other hand did not have such a nice visit. He did not want the doctor to touch him and was hissing and trying to bite him. They had to give him some medicine just to look at him. He did not come home with us last night so I can only guess that this guy took him.
and they went on this:
The mommy said he has a UFO and blocked peeer. I am not real clear on how they are related but they said a lot of cats get these UFO's. I knew cats were a little spacey. I am guessing that the UFO must bring him somewhere to fix his peeer thingy. All sounds a little strange to me. I heard the mommy tell the littles that he should be home tonight. The mommy also said that these UFO trips were expensive. I will fill you in on his trip when he gets home.
