Bad Bacon
Buster and I got in big troubles.
The Daddy was makin bacon.
We smelt the bacon.
We begged for the bacon.
He THREW us BACON (can you feel the excitement).

We fought over the bacon. We fought and got in big troubles with the Mommy :(
She did get over it but was not happy with us. We were like two puggies who lost their minds over that bacon. Beware of the Bacon!!!
BTW, The Mommy lost 5 lbs. Go Mommy!

Weigh In and Buster Update
Well, I got weighed last night. It was good but, all of the Turkey day damage is not gone yet.
This week weigh in: 25.4 lbs.
Down from last week (26 lbs.) but still not back to my weight loss of before the holiday.
The mommy gets weighed tomorrow so we will post on that another day.
Buster Update: He is doing good. Him and I play a lot. He is always in play mode and I have to remind him that pugs are suppose to rest during the day!!
He also snores like a freight train which has woken the mommy up a few times. We thought daddy was bad - no way - Buster Boy can snore with the best of them!!
Another thing about Buster is his tongue is bigger than his mouth and it always hangs out a tiny bit - the mommy says its cute - but I am not so sure.
Other than those few nit picky things, he is pretty nice to have around and the hoomans really like him too! Him and I are like bosom buddies and pretty much do everything together!
Well, Hope you are all getting your pawsents purchased for the howldays!

Getting Back On Track
Well with Buster's arrival and the Thanksgiving Holiday my diet went out the window.
Things are now settled down and I am getting back on track. I am going to pretend the last 2 weeks did not happen and start again today. My next weigh in will be in 1 week and I will see where I stand. The mommy is also starting a diet so I may report on her success as well.
Buster is doing great and is a perfect fit for our family. Him and I hang out all the time and play. The mommy says he has a lot of good habits that I should pick up. Not sure what she is talking about. (She says he walks nicer on the leash and that I pull too much.)
Although he does bark a lot at the cats which has Gabby having a heart attack. He is very friendly and I think just wants to play with them. He follows the mommy everywhere and likes to sit on her lap - so now we both do that.
I do think having a brother around is going to be great.

Adjusting
Hi Furends,
I am not sure where to start. Things have definitely changed in my house by having a brother around. At first, I was shocked to meet Buster and was not sure why he was in my yard.
I checked him out closely to see who he was and reported my findings to Jet who waited on the inside.
I had to double check my findings.
Then decided I would give him a go and race him around the yard.
I am starting to wonder if this is how things are going to be from now on.
I am not an only pug anymore. It takes a getting used to!

Buster's Arrival
The hoomans were up before the sun. They travelled an hour north to meet the transport. Seven other dogs new families were there waiting too. The transport was running late and everyone's excitement was growing. Finally, they could see the big truck coming up the road.
Amazing the dogs were stacked 3 high in that trailer. Buster was on the tippy top.

The dogs were barking all wondering if it was their time to get out. The workers took each dog out one by one and handed them off to their new families. My family went up when it was their turn and they handed them Buster. He was so cute - said the Mommy and the littles were so happy.

They came home and introduced me and Buster in the yard. We ran around a lot and sniffed each other.

I can see us becoming fast friends.

I will tell you about our first days together in the next post.
