Thankful Thursday

Hi Furends,

I have been busy babysitting the littles this week (with our cousin Taylor) and have not had time to get on my blog. I just took a peek this morning to see what has been happening to all my furends and read some very scary news.
My good friend Pearlie Poo had to have emergency surgery due to some stones that she must have ate or something - who knows how stones got into her body - but anyway thankfully her Momma was on top of her game and got her to the doctor right way. She is going to be fine, but that sounds like a very scary adventure - I would like to dedicate this Thankful Thursday to Miss Pearl and her Momma - we are all very thankful you got the help to make you all better.

Thankful Thursday

In light of the sad events in the past weeks for my friends and family, I am going to prepare a list of 5 items we are thankful for - I would love for you to do the same :)

1) We are thankful that it is going to be beautiful weather this Saturday and we can enjoy our pool with friends.

2) We are thankful for our health and home.

3) We are thankful for vacations and planning family trips (like Disney world) for next year. (this was added by the mommy - I don't think pugs are allowed).

4) We are thankful for our loving pets - who love us no matter what (this one was added by the mommy for me :).

5) We are thankful for all of our blogging buddies who send us good thoughts, vibes and Karma which is so very important.

That was a good exercise and makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. You should try it too - it does help.

Thankful Thursday

Today, I am thankful for this beawootiful award from Mrs. Martha and Bailey Basset. "Comprovado! Seu blog tem nectar" is Portuguese for "Proven! This (it's) blog has nectar." How sweet!

Thank you Martha and Bailey you ladies are very sweet too. I would like to pass this on to Pearlie poo because she is the sweetest little thing with those bows in her hair.

Thankful Thursday

It has been a while since I did a Thankful Thursday.
Here it goes:
1) Dog Parks - best invention ever made by hoomans.
2) Gourmet Rawhide Bones - totally deliciouso (these are the kind that we are not suppose to eat on the furniture and that we can gnaw down in a few minutes)
3) Good Girl Cookies - I fake the mommy out all the time to get these - I just step outside and come back in again and sit by the cookie box (I don't even do pee pee- shhh our secret).
4) Car Rides - I get very excited when we go out on the town. (Remember this car ride)
5) My Orange Puppia Harness - when that comes out of the drawer - I know I am going some place fun!

Yup - those are sure some things to be thankful for!!

(Not) Thankful Thursday

Tis the Thanksgiving season and since I document on this blog what I am thankful for every week. I thought it would be fun to list a few things that I am not thankful for this week!

1) Being left home alone.

2) Humans who do not share their food.

3) Having to pee and poop outside when it is very cold out.

4) #3 again when it is raining out.

5) Wide bones that get stuck in my throat.

6) Cheap dog food.

7) Hissing Cats.

8) Being locked out of the bathroom when Mommy is in there.

9) Car rides that are not just for fun.

and last but not least

10) Trips to the Vet.

Today I am thankful for this loving little human. He is a sweet little boy that I love very much. He also has lots of good chew toys in his room. Thank you for being my friend.

Today, we are thankful that the humans chose wisely.

Thankful Thursday

Before I list my items for Thankful Thursday - I want to announce that I will not be posting tomorrow because I will be preparing for the big trick or treat walk that I will be taking with mommy, daddy and the little humans tomorrow.

I will be resting in the am, getting dressed in my costume in the early afternoon and trick or treating in the late afternoon/evening. I will also be attending the Pug Meet up this weekend http://www.meetup.com/jerseyshorepugs/ and will tell you all about it next week!

Now - It is time to think of the things we are thankful for:

1) I am getting my stitches out today!!! YAHOO - I can lick there again!!!

2) For my new harness by Puppia. I LOVE IT and so does Mommy. I got the orange to go with my apricot coloring.

I am thankful that I can only be spayed once.

I am thankful the surgery is over.

I am thankful I am feeling better.

I am thankful that I have the strength to chase and jump on the cats again.

I am thankful that I am stronger than the felines.

I am very Thankful that I went to a good home. I love my family and they give me lots of rubs and loves. A Pug could not be happier - (well, maybe if I had an unlimited supply of beef sticks...)
